Pre-industrial heirloom wheat with outstanding flavor. This is a hard red wheat that makes excellent bread. 4’ tall or more, with long spreading awns. Adapted to dry soil and low to medium fertility. Grown in Kansas and the mountain west for decades, and on our farm since 2016.
